International Confirmation Training
The Evangelical Lutheran Association for Youth in Finland (Nuorten Keskus) has annually three International bilingual Confirnation Trainings. There are 50 confirmands in every Confirmation Training. The group has been divided in two teaching classes, Finnish and English. There are five leaders, ten group leaders (isonen) and one assistant teacher who is mostly leader for groupleaders.
About half of youngsters are coming from Finland, the other half is coming from all over the World. The youngsters coming from abroad are mostly Finns or "half"- Finns.
Camp
The Camp part of the International Confirmation Trainings is held at the camp centre Pöyhölä in Keuruu. Please read more about the place in the Brochure of Pöyhölä. The camp parts of our Confirmation Trainings are organised one after another in July and August. The last Confirmation Training every year is held together with The Finnish Seamen's Mission and they'll send one leader to the camp.
